The Kuomintang (KMT) candidate for mayor of New Taipei, Hou You-yi, has agreed to hold a debate with his rival, DPP candidate Su Tseng-chang.
The debate will be held on Monday morning. Four people will be invited to ask them questions. Each candidate has three minutes to answer each question.
Earlier this week, You said he will focus on his ideas and policies as he was the city’s deputy mayor for seven years. The former Central Police University president also called for civility in the debate.
